Natively WordPress doesn’t offer the possibility to download files directly from the WordPress media library. With that simple extension you can download any files you need!

I love plugins that really do what they promise. However you could give better instructions and use the word «Download» which is more familiar to most people. Five stars though, because it is a very useful and well working plugin.

Has zero instructions on how to use it, but I happened to figure it out by chance. In the default WordPress Media section, click «Bulk Select» and select the items you want.
A new button will appear next to the option to permenantly delete, and the button will say «Télécharger» regardless of your language. Select all of the pieces of media you want and then click that button and it will automatically download all of the selected items to your computer.
Worked for me in January 2025 with fully updated WordPress, at least.
