You can create a backup of your _.htaccess_ file and can be restored from WordPress Dashboard. You can create a Backup from Htaccess —> Backup Menu and you can edit .htaccess file from Htaccess Menu. **This plugin should be used only by experienced users!** ### Features 1. Sorry, we can’t change the file access privileges set by your server. You’ll have to edit the file via FTP. ### I edited my htaccess file and now my site does not work? You probably have a syntax error in the file or on the server you are not allowed any of the settings in your htaccess file. Try to restore the original backup file. If restoration is not possible with this plugin, restore the backup file from the folder “wp-content ” manually. ### Where do I report security bugs found in this plugin? Also the ads of the original were removed. Not sure if this is a legit — but the plugin works fine and has no ads.
