Introduction

Welcome to Fatora Payment Gateway for WordPress! This plugin enables WP/WooCommerce website owners in Qatar and many other countries to seamlessly receive online payments from their clients.

Installation

Step 1: Preparation

Before installing the Fatora Payment Gateway plugin, ensure you have completed the following:

  1. Download the Fatora Payment Gateway plugin from WordPress.org or directly from Fatora.
  2. Install and activate the WooCommerce plugin on your WordPress website.

Step 2: Plugin Installation

  1. Navigate to your WordPress dashboard and go to Plugins > Add New.
  2. Click on the «Upload Plugin» button.
  3. Choose the Fatora Payment Gateway plugin zip file you downloaded and click «Install Now».
  4. Once installed, click on «Activate Plugin» to activate it.

Step 3: Configuration

  1. After activation, go to Installed Plugins > Fatora — Fatora Payment Gateway Settings.
  2. Configure the following settings:
    • Set your live API KEY.
    • Define the URL of the success page to redirect to upon successful payment completion.
    • Define the URL of the failure page to redirect to in case of payment failure.
    • Choose the language of the checkout payment gateway (either «ar» or «en»).
    • Set the currency code supported on your website as ISO format. By default, it is QAR (Qatari Riyal).
  3. Navigate to WooCommerce Settings > Payments tab.
  4. Enable the Fatora Payment Gateway payment method.

Step 4: Create Completion Pages (Success and Failure Pages)

  1. From your WordPress admin dashboard, go to Pages > Add New.
  2. Create two pages to serve as the success and failure pages. These pages will be used to redirect users after payment completion or failure.
